Best equipped house yes- but even better Host…

We have rented houses along all of 30A every year but 2 of our 18 year marriage. We’ve almost always had very good to excellent experiences, but Sea-Esta, and particularly Bill have far surpassed all of these instances. On this particular trip we were combining 3 generations and 2 families (mine and my sister’s), so we needed a bigger than usual house. Yes, the house is phenomenal- beautifully laid out and extremely well-equipped, from the beach equipment and bikes outside to the kitchen, bedrooms and upstairs decks. And no doubt, Summer’s Edge is a superior choice, to get the epitome of comfort combined with a pristine and peaceful environment, a true “oasis” of sorts compared to some of the crazy-busy spots along 30A. However, what I want you to know most, is that Bill,  the owner/host, is clearly the story here. From the very moment he received our initial request for information, he went out of his way to respond quickly and substantively, with everything we needed and could have wanted. I have always been the one to communicate with the host, and Bill does the job exactly the way you would want it done. While I have always felt like just another weekly “number” in past rental experiences, with Bill I felt more “guided” and truly “hosted”. In fact, his Welcome Packet included so much information that I actually learned some new things I didn’t know about the area, and told him so. He is hands down the most conscientious host I have ever dealt with and I would instantly seek him and Sea-Esta again if our needs met it’s accommodations.
